Vance Hendersonville Rally Set for Monday in North Carolina
The Vance Hendersonville rally is set for Monday, Oct. 19, with Vice President JD Vance headlining a midterm event in western North Carolina as the administration ramps up its campaign schedule ahead of the elections.
The Republican National Committee announced the rally, which is hosted by Trump 47 Committee Inc., one of the party’s joint fundraising committees. The event will take place at Hyder Warehouse in Hendersonville, according to FOX Carolina.
Monday’s Schedule: Doors, Time and Tickets
Doors open at 10 a.m., the program begins at noon, and Vance is scheduled to speak at 1:15 p.m., organizers said. Those who want to attend must register in advance through the GOP’s event page, which limits signups to four tickets per person and requires a text-message confirmation to complete registration.
A Day Before Trump’s Greenville Rally
Vance’s stop lands just one day before President Donald Trump is expected to hold his own midterm rally in Greenville, North Carolina, on Tuesday, Oct. 20, the RNC said. Trump’s September visit to Gastonia backed Republican Senate candidate Michael Whatley, who is running against Democrat and former Gov. Roy Cooper for a highly contested U.S. Senate seat, and Whatley’s campaign says he will speak at Tuesday’s rally as well.
