Netanyahu Trump Two Years: Finish the Iran Mission

The netanyahu trump two years window is open, and Israel’s prime minister says it should be used to finish the most pressing task of all: eliminating the Iranian threat. i24NEWS reported that Benjamin Netanyahu declared the remaining time in Donald Trump’s second term was the moment to accomplish Israel’s tasks “on all fronts” — and in a separate interview confirmed by multiple outlets, he made clear that Tehran sits at the top of that agenda.

“Complete Elimination of the Iranian Threat”

Speaking on Fox News’s “Life, Liberty & Levin,” Netanyahu was asked what he wanted to accomplish alongside Trump over the next two years. His answer was a single overriding goal: “Achieve the complete elimination of the Iranian threat to Israel, to America, to the world.” He said the two countries were already moving in that direction through military action and what he described as an American economic blockade of Tehran, and praised what he called Trump’s “brilliant leadership.” “Let’s complete the job and have the people of Iran seize their own future,” he added.

“The Only Way… Is to Get Rid of This Regime”

Netanyahu drew a sharp line between Iran’s government and its citizens, calling Iranians “great people” with one of history’s great civilizations, and saying the country had been “kidnapped and hijacked” by its rulers. “The only way that you can deal with it is basically to get rid of this regime,” he said, describing it as a long process of military and economic pressure. He placed Iran at the center of a regional network that includes Hezbollah and the Houthis, and said Trump has consistently stressed keeping nuclear weapons out of Iran’s hands. Tehran, he warned, is developing intercontinental ballistic missiles that could reach the United States — missiles it wants to pair with nuclear warheads.

Expanding the Abraham Accords

Beyond Iran, Netanyahu said his broader goals include widening the Abraham Accords and building a regional bloc of “peace, moderation and promise” against Iran and its allies. The remarks land as Israel prepares for a national election on October 27, a contest in which Netanyahu has argued his close working relationship with Trump matters for the final two years of the American president’s term.
