Rays Guardians ALCS: Series Tied 1-1, Game 3 Moved Early

The rays guardians alcs is all square at one game apiece after the teams split the first two contests, setting up a pivotal swing game Thursday in Cleveland — with a new, earlier start time.

Cleveland took Game 1, 7-3, before Tampa Bay answered with a 3-1 win in Game 2. With the series shifting north, Game 3 has been moved up from 6 p.m. to 1 p.m. ET on Thursday because of the threat of inclement weather in Cleveland.

Weather Forces the Schedule Shuffle

The early first pitch is a precaution against a forecast that could disrupt the evening slot. Both clubs now face a quick turnaround into a daytime game, with Game 4 set for Friday at 6 p.m. back in Cleveland.

How to Watch

All ALCS games air on TBS and truTV. With the series knotted at 1-1, the best-of-seven is now effectively a best-of-five — and the weather-shortened window makes Thursday’s afternoon tilt a momentum grab for whichever pitching staff settles first.
