USWNT vs Spain: Tonight’s Rematch in Chester

The USWNT vs Spain rematch gives the Americans an immediate shot at revenge on Tuesday night, in the second of two friendlies between the world’s top-ranked sides.

Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. ET at Subaru Park in Chester, Pennsylvania, with the match airing on TNT, HBO Max, Universo and Peacock.

What Happened on Saturday

Spain took the first meeting 2-0 on Saturday at Audi Field in Washington. The reigning World Cup champions struck twice inside the opening 15 minutes through Patri Guijarro and Eva Navarro, then withstood a second-half American onslaught to preserve the clean sheet.

US coach Emma Hayes fielded an experienced lineup on Saturday, with the starters averaging nearly 60 caps each. Mallory Swanson and Ashley Sanchez both came off the bench in their first national team appearances in almost two years.

How to Watch USWNT vs Spain

Hayes hinted there could be changes for the rematch. Five uncapped players are waiting for debuts, and the coach may finally unleash the celebrated “Triple Espresso” front three of Trinity Rodman, Sophia Wilson and Swanson together for the first time since the 2024 Olympics.

A projected lineup has goalkeeper Claudia Dickey shielded by Gisele Thompson, Tara Rudd, Tierna Davidson and Emily Fox, with Lindsey Heaps, Claire Hutton and Rose Lavelle in midfield.

Beyond pride, the match is a measuring stick. Spain sits atop the women’s game, and closing the gap starts with competing over 90 minutes — something the Americans will be desperate to prove on home soil.
